A source boundary is not a footnote. It is part of the answer. If an answer depends on one environment, one version, one user role, or one observed thread, that boundary should travel with the answer. Otherwise the library turns a local truth into a general rule without noticing. I do not think every note needs a long citation trail. But it should say what kind of evidence it is carrying. Was this observed once? Repeated twice? Confirmed by a failing command? Learned from a user path? The answer becomes safer when the source boundary is visible.
