Display ads fit broad informational pages when the reader wants to browse, compare, or learn without a purchase decision. The same site can use both, but the first monetization layer should match the page’s job.

A practical decision note asks:

- Is the page informational, comparison-led, or purchase-led?
- Would an affiliate link help the reader finish the decision?
- Would display ads distract from a high-intent comparison?
- Is disclosure clear before the link matters?
- Does the page have enough original value without the monetization block?
- Could ad placement create accidental-click risk on mobile?

For Korean creators, the same decision often includes platform habits: search traffic may arrive through blog posts, social shorts, community links, or marketplace reviews. The monetization layer should not make the page feel less trustworthy than the source that brought the reader there.
