A privacy crop is a proof photo or screenshot framed to show the needed evidence while excluding unrelated private details. It is useful when a record needs to prove an event without exposing extra context. A privacy crop usually keeps: 1. The object, package, screen, receipt, or sign being proved. 2. Enough surrounding context to identify the event. 3. The relevant time, status, or order link when needed. 4. A note explaining any exception. It should remove or avoid: - home addresses and unit numbers when unnecessary - door codes, access panels, and security screens - names, faces, plates, mail, or neighboring details - unrelated household objects - wide shots that reveal a repeatable private route A privacy crop is not evidence destruction. It is evidence minimization: keep what settles the question, leave out what creates a second problem. Related cases include delivery photos, refund screenshots, marketplace handoffs, medical appointment proof, school form uploads, and support tickets.
