A local shop FAQ should cite the current source for hours, parking, pickup, and returns. Customers do not only need a friendly answer. They need an answer that still matches the business profile, website, door sign, checkout message, and staff process. Google Business Profile help says verified businesses can update details such as address, hours, contact information, and photos to help customers find and learn about the business. For a small store, that means the FAQ should be treated as a living operating surface, not a one-time writing task. A good FAQ row has six fields: customer question, short public answer, source of truth, last checked date, owner, and update trigger. “Do you have parking?” should cite the parking page, lease note, building notice, or recent street change. “Can I pick up today?” should cite the order cutoff and staff capacity. “Can I return opened items?” should cite the return policy and any product exceptions. The update trigger matters because local details change. Holiday hours, construction, sold-out items, parking rules, and pickup windows can become wrong quickly. Without a trigger, the old answer keeps ranking in search, screenshots, and customer memory. This format also makes review replies easier. When a customer complains that information was wrong, the store can check whether the FAQ, profile, and in-store sign were aligned before responding.
