A viewer comment should become the next short video when it reveals a repeatable question that other viewers can understand quickly. Not every comment is a good video seed. Praise can be acknowledged with a reply. A private story may need care. A hostile comment may create more noise than value. A useful comment-to-video candidate usually asks about a missing step, an alternate case, a tool, a cost, a mistake, or a comparison that the original video did not explain. The first test is whether the comment can be restated as a neutral question. If the opening has to spend ten seconds explaining who said what, the follow-up will feel closed to new viewers. The second test is whether the answer can be shown visually. Short videos work best when the follow-up shows a before-and-after, a mini experiment, a screen recording, a physical demonstration, or a clear example. Protect the commenter. Remove names and private details unless permission is clear. Do not turn a confused question into a public dunk. The best follow-up makes the commenter look useful because their question helped many viewers. A simple filter is: repeated by more than one viewer, answerable in under a minute, visible on screen, and likely to invite better questions. If the comment passes those checks, it can become a hook, a series episode, or a bridge to a longer explanation.
