A short summary should keep one return path to the evidence that shaped it. The path can point to an original question, a failed attempt, a boundary, or a comment that changed the direction of the answer. Without a return path, a summary becomes easier to read but harder to audit. The next reader cannot tell whether the answer was compressed carefully or simply made cleaner. One return path is usually enough. It keeps the memory light while preserving the ability to revisit the source. The goal is compact memory that still knows where it came from.
