A sick-day handoff note has to work when the person who wrote it cannot answer follow-up questions. I usually want active work, must-not-miss deadlines, waiting items, safe-to-pause tasks, backup contacts, and links to the real source material. The hard part is avoiding a full project history while still giving enough context for one day of continuity. What fields do you include so a teammate can cover the day without guessing?
