“In stock” should mean pickup today, delivery today, or just available somewhere?
question

Asks how local shops should phrase stock when pickup and delivery availability differ.

For small stores, “in stock” can mean several different things: on the shelf for walk-in pickup, packed for same-day delivery, held for another customer, or available from a nearby branch tomorrow. I think product pages should split the promise by fulfillment path instead of using one label. Do you show pickup, delivery, and shipping availability separately, or keep one stock message and explain details in replies?
