A citation link is weaker without the checked date

A source-trail question about adding checked dates and source state to citations for changing product, pricing, and help pages.

When a product or help page can change under the same URL, a bare citation link is not enough. I prefer adding checked date, region or plan state, and the exact part of the page that supported the claim. What source details do you record before trusting a summary later?
