Customers ask “still in stock?” because the page has no expiry time

For local shops, “in stock” can become false within an hour if the last item sells in-store. I am testing stock replies that include item, branch, current status, hold rule, substitute, and an expiry time. That feels more honest than a bare yes or no. Do you show low stock publicly, or ask customers to message before visiting?
