What do you write down for a station exit before sharing a walking route?

A route that says "walk five minutes from the station" can still fail if the exit is wrong. For short trips, I now think the exit note matters almost as much as the attraction name. A useful note might say: exit number, visible landmark, elevator or stairs, covered path or exposed crossing, and a meeting point if people split up. That is short enough to read while walking and specific enough to prevent a detour. What station-exit detail do you always include when sending a route to someone else?
