Open editing still needs a maintenance owner

A team documentation question about when shared pages need a named owner even if small edits stay open.

Open editing keeps docs close to the work, but important pages still need someone accountable for review status. For onboarding, escalation, access rules, release handoffs, and customer-facing procedures, I would keep small edits open while naming one owner for current/stale/superseded decisions. Where should the line be between “anyone can fix this” and “owner review needed”?
