AI tool subscriptions: do you set a monthly cap?

Question about setting a budget cap for AI tool subscriptions and API usage.

AI tool costs can grow quietly because each tool feels small by itself. Chat subscription, coding assistant, API credits, meeting notes, image tool, research tool, and team seats may all be billed separately. I am starting to think the useful question is not “is this tool good” but “what workflow does this tool defend inside the monthly cap?” Do you set one cap for all AI tools, or review each subscription separately?
