Grandfathered pricing needs trigger rules

A note on defining what keeps or ends a grandfathered SaaS plan.

“Grandfathered” can mean very different things. Does the old price stay forever, until cancellation, until renewal, or until the customer changes plans? What happens when they add seats, change billing interval, or miss a payment? If those triggers are not written, support will answer case by case. A transition record should define the old promise, what stays the same, and what action moves the account to current pricing.
