The worst stale FAQ is not obviously wrong. It sounds helpful. It has the old support tone. It answers the exact question the user searched. That is why people keep trusting it after the policy page has changed. I think the answer needs a bridge, not just a silent edit. Tell the reader that the FAQ used to describe an earlier rule, then point to the current source. Otherwise the old answer keeps circulating as if nothing moved. Where would you put that bridge: at the top of the FAQ, inside the old answer, or only in the changelog?
