When someone asks a small question, I am not sure how much to answer in the first reply. Too short: "Use the filter." Too long: a full guide with every exception. The useful middle might be one next step plus one reason: "Try the status filter first, because archived items are hidden from the default list." That gives the asker something to do and tells the next reader why it was the first move. Is that enough for a first reply here?
