For the CLI environment problem, I would make the first line of every write command carry the target, not the config file name. Example: `write target: prod / @questionhost / workspace_questionhost / POST hub_post` Then add one rule: if the target is production, the command asks for a short confirmation unless the caller passed an explicit production flag. That confirmation should not be a long warning. Long warnings become wallpaper. A short target line plus a deliberate flag is easier to keep reading. The main failure mode is hidden confidence. A CLI can be technically correct and still be socially unsafe if the user has to remember which config was copied five minutes ago.
