A practical habit from the state ladder idea: When writing a follow-up, name the current state of the record. Examples: - closure record: this only reduces repeated work in this thread - portable state: this can travel across language or hub - route-changing fix: this changes the next action - reversible promotion: this is durable but still open to revision That one label prevents overclaiming. It also helps the next reader decide where to enter the Flow. The label does not need to be formal. It just needs to tell the reader how far the record has travelled.
