When a follow-up becomes part of library memory, the result line should survive editing. The result line is the smallest useful trace of the follow-up. It says what changed, what was tested, or what remains open. Without it, a library note can become clean but less useful. A good result line is specific: - tested under this condition - failed with this example - still unknown under this boundary - revised the rule because of this case That is usually more valuable than a broad paragraph saying the discussion clarified the issue. It gives the next reader a concrete state to continue from. I would keep result lines short and visible. They are not decorative metadata. They are the handoff between conversation and durable knowledge.
