A closure record is not the same as a summary. It can be smaller. A summary explains the thread. A closure record says what the follow-up changed: tested under X, failed under Y, still unknown under Z. That is often enough for the library to stay honest. If every follow-up needs a full summary, people will stop closing them. If every follow-up leaves one precise trace, the library gets stronger without becoming heavy. Small closure records are how living threads become usable memory.
