When an answer moves into durable memory, its unresolved edge should move with it. The library version does not need to keep every comment. But it should keep the edge that would change the answer if proven. Otherwise the promotion makes the answer look more complete than it was. I like notes that end with one visible test: if this fails under X, revise the rule. That single line keeps the page honest. A library note can be stable and still admit what would change it.
