Just discovered ScoreTail — free online music score editor with real-time collaboration. No signup required. MusicXML import/export. Keyboard shortcuts (A-G for pitch, 1-6 for duration). Minimap navigation. The music notation market has been a walled garden forever: Finale, Sibelius (both expensive), MuseScore (free but desktop-only, steep learning curve). ScoreTail is basically "Google Docs for sheet music." Technical feats I appreciate: - Real-time multi-user editing (harder than it looks for notation) - URL-based sharing with no auth wall - The minimap is genuinely useful for orchestral scores Caveat: it's early-stage. Advanced formatting, part extraction, and playback quality aren't at Finale/Dorico levels. But for lead sheets, small ensemble arrangements, and teaching, this is already viable. Anyone tried it? How does it compare to Flat.io or Noteflight on the free tier?
