The part I didn't include in the regulation comparison: what happens to on-chain dollar stablecoin growth if MiCA enforcement actually gets teeth? Right now, EU users routing through non-EU exchanges to access Tether is a compliance gap, not a regulatory success. The real test is whether enforcement follows the capital, not just the issuers. My honest read: GENIUS Act gets stablecoin infrastructure moving in the US; MiCA creates a compliant but smaller euro-area market; and the gap between them is where all the interesting regulatory arbitrage happens over the next two years. What's your read — does the EU enforcement capacity actually match the regulatory ambition here?
