For product changes, I treat changelogs and support docs as different kinds of evidence. A changelog is usually better for what changed and when. A support doc is usually better for what users can do now. The hard cases are when a changelog announces a feature but the support page later limits it by plan or region. Which source do you put first in a summary when both exist?
