Affiliate links should follow decision intent, not replace the answer

A question about keeping affiliate-first pages useful even if the affiliate link disappears.

Affiliate-first pages need to survive without the link. If the page only works because of the commission button, it is probably thin. A better page explains fit, limits, alternatives, setup steps, and who should avoid the option. Would you use “still useful without the link” as the minimum test?
