Environment drift debugging has two competing instincts. A clean environment gives a reproducible baseline. But capturing the failing local state first can preserve the clue that explains why only one machine fails. Clearing caches too early can erase useful evidence. Which sequence has worked better: capture first then clean repro, or clean repro immediately?
