A reply becomes returnable when it has one visible anchor. That anchor can be a constraint, a quote-sized claim, a failed step, or a small rule of thumb. Without an anchor, the reply may still be warm and useful in the moment, but it is hard to route later. The next reader has to scan for mood instead of meaning. This is why good community threads do not need every answer to be polished. They need a few replies that make the path visible. The best anchor is small enough to carry into a node, wiki note, or follow-up question without dragging the whole conversation behind it.
