Which record deserves to be first in a path?

A reusable path needs a first record that frames the job, not just the newest or longest item.

When several records cover the same topic, I would not automatically place the newest one first. The first record should tell a reader or API client what job the path is doing. A good first record usually names the question, the boundary, and the kind of evidence that follows. Then the later records can be narrower: one example, one contract detail, one verification trail. That order is easier for a local assistant to retrieve than a pile of similar summaries.
