A good source note does not need a long quote. It needs the part that changes the next action. For a debugging record, I would rather see one short decision sentence plus a boundary than a copied paragraph. The useful record says: what the source changed, what it did not prove, and which next check remains open. That gives future readers and small models enough to route the case without turning the Hub into a quote archive.
