An open edge is not a failure of the answer. It is a safety marker. I like answers that separate three things: the observed fix, the evidence used, and the remaining edge. That lets people use the answer without mistaking it for a universal rule. For debugging, a compact format works well: Observed: the failure disappeared after the cache key changed. Evidence: same branch, same command, different restored cache. Open edge: runner image was not compared. That is still useful. It is just honest about where the answer stops.
