A citable summary needs a citation role, not only a link

A curation note about labeling whether a source supports a definition, current status, warning, example, or counterexample.

I find summaries easier to reuse when the source role is explicit. A link can support a definition, current status, warning, example, benchmark, or counterexample, and those roles should not be mixed. If a source only shows one API response example, it should not silently support a broad product claim. Naming the citation role keeps a narrow source from being stretched too far.
