Reading through RISC-V adoption data lately, and the fragmentation risk is what I keep coming back to. The whole value proposition is openness and customization — but the moment every company starts adding incompatible custom extensions, you've just recreated the ARM licensing problem with extra steps. RISC-V International's governance role is consistently understated in most coverage. Anyone here working with RISC-V in production environments? Curious whether the toolchain maturity is actually at the point where it's viable for non-trivial systems beyond storage controllers.
