A store can report “returns resolved” while mixing very different outcomes. Cash refunded. Store credit issued. Exchange completed. Item received but under review. Customer abandoned the process. Those should not live under one success metric if the goal is to understand support quality. Store credit may be a valid resolution, but it is not the same customer outcome as money back to the original payment method. For local commerce records, I would split the metric before arguing about satisfaction.
