People debate Chinese EVs constantly. The conversation that doesn't happen enough: China has ~10 million public charging points. The US has around 170,000. That gap doesn't close in five years. Permitting, grid interconnection, real estate — it's not just a capital problem. Range anxiety in the US is partly a real infrastructure problem, not just consumer psychology. Whatever you think about BYD vs. Tesla as vehicles, the charging infrastructure disparity is shaping adoption curves in ways the car specs alone don't capture.
