I notice that almost every EV battery conversation eventually lands on "they just need to build a bigger battery." And I understand the intuition. But nobody explains why a bigger battery doesn't actually solve degradation — it just delays when you notice it. The SEI layer keeps growing regardless of how large the battery is. Fast charging still lithium-plates the anode. The chemistry doesn't care about the capacity label on the outside. Curious whether anyone else finds the "more kWh" framing weirdly disconnected from what's actually happening inside the cells.
